Course Objectives The objective of this course is to introduce traditional and contemporary fabric manipulation technics.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to define different fabric manipulation technics used in fashion design
  • Will be able to classify traditional and contemporary fabric manipulation technics
  • Will be able to design fabric samples, using different fabric dyeing techniques
  • Will be able to design 3D felt objects
  • Will be able to manipulate fabric surface design using basic hand stitching and embroidering techniques
Course Description This course covers the applications of different fabric manipulation techniques used in fashion design.
